Duration: 36 hours
The first day we will have the same activities that are scheduled
for the One Day Arenal Volcano by Night & Hot Springs tour. We
will stay at the chosen hotel; which may be: Arenal Paraíso, Arenal
Country Inn, (Tabacón Lodge additional fee), San Bosco or Montaña
de Fuego. The second day after breakfast, we will go to
the Bridge between San Isidro and the Invu which is only 40 Minutes
from La Fortuna (Aguas Bravas is the tour operator). We
will get into the Peñas Blancas River to travel for 5 miles through
crystalline circulating waters. The view is characterized
for its big natural pools of volcanic origin and its abundant
vegetation. At the middle of the tour we will have delicious
tropical fruits that are nicely served. Later, we will have
a splendid lunch at Rancho Los Horcones, in the unique Chachagua
Forest. Finally, we will return to Tabacón Resort where
we will have an extraordinary dinner before going back to San
José.
Suggested Equipment: swimsuit, towel, camera, binoculars,
rubber soled shoes, sandalias, shorts, extra clothing (for white
water rafting), and sunscreen. |
